what is kidfit?a New Way for Kids to Stay Active & Involved

At KidFit, we are reimaging how we introduce our kids to fitness. Our program redefines the approach by making it fun and accessible for children of all abilities and skill levels ages two to 11. With a variety of physical activities and supportive coaching, KidFit encourages kids to explore movement, build friendships, and develop essential life skills by empowering them to live healthy, active lives.

When their son expressed a desire for a supportive environment to practice fitness and make friends, Ricki and Christopher Gullion realized they didn’t have many options in the area besides little league sports. Driven by a passion for personal growth, friendship, and fun, they set out to create KidFit—a place where children could engage in playful and healthy activities that foster confidence, fitness, and well-being. Today, KidFit stands as a testament to their vision, providing a welcoming community where every child can grow, learn, and discover their potential.

Our Core Pillars at kidfit

At KidFit, we believe that goal setting, friendship, and fun are the essential pillars that support a child’s development and well-being. Each of these elements plays a crucial role in shaping not only active, healthy kids but also well-rounded individuals.

Courage

We are teaching kids to know what it means to do hard things even when it might be scary.

  • Achieving personal goals boosts self-esteem and helps children believe in their abilities and enhance their overall performance.

  • Learning to overcome challenges teaches kids that setbacks are part of the journey, instilling a growth mindset that encourages persistence.

  • As children navigate their own paths, they develop decision-making skills and a sense of ownership and control over their progress.

Commitment

We are following through on our word and seeing things through to completion.

  • Through fun interactions and group activities, kids learn essential skills like communication, cooperation, and empathy.

  • Kids learn the importance of supporting each other, helping them feel more connected and understood as they face new challenges.

  • Although not a traditional sports team, kids learn collaboration and the value of working together toward their goals.

Confidence

We are building confidence in who they are as a person and helping them carry that throughout the rest of their lives.

  • When children have fun, they are more likely to stay active and motivated, developing a lifelong love for fitness.

  • Fun activities stimulate imagination and creativity, encouraging kids to think outside the box and explore new ideas.

  • Play and laughter are essential for reducing stress and enhancing emotional health, allowing kids to express themselves joyfully.
